  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • 1982, My father came home with a Commodore 64

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • PC, Playstation 2.
    PS2 I got rid off

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well, everyone has it’s own creative soul. Mine is creating music

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I started with Soundtracker, after that Protracker and upgrades of that

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think I had many mods that reached it’s goal, because I learned that many people got interested in my music.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • All tunes that have the EGG-soundwave in it...... J

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Depends on the music programmer. Let me tell you that I really dislike mods that have high beeps in it and many vibrations.. Most of the time the melodies of these tunes mostly lack any musical cunning. So when an intro has a tune like that in it..... CLICK..CLICK..CLICK J

(The analogue beeping - bad for the ears tunes - if you know what I mean.) To bad the Amiga scene got poisoned by these tunes. The thing is, an easy program to create music, doesn't make you a real musician. I.o.w. Using a calculator doesn't make U a mathematics teacher.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • These days (as a hobby) I am now starting up a recording studio and Music & sound-effect engineering studio. (www.themework.nl) I also created some music for ballet & musicals since then.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Cool

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Well, I have many tunes that I like. I’d rather listen to Tim & Mike Follin’s tunes, they did awesome things with sounds & effects.

Always working to new elements, just like my brother and I did. (We where always searching for new musical elements & sounds)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Maybe I will, that would be a great Idea. I will sure let you know when I have finished one.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listening to?

  • The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, System of a Down, Alain Garon, jazzrock, fusion music etc.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Warmth. I really had no idea the scene would still be alive. I’d like to get in contact with my former buddies in Random Access I would like to know how they are doing and all..

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Sorry, no.. My wife and kids are needing me more J

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Awesome
