  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • With atari 2600 VCS & Thomson MO5 at school when i was 10

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Atari 2600VCS / CBS Colecovision/ Thomson MO5 / C64 / Amstrad CPC 464 /
    Atari 520STF / AMIGA 500 - 2000 - 1200 - 4000 / PC ...

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • that was the best of the 3 things mentionned above

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker 2.3D AGA Fixed, soundMon 2.0, AHX 2.3D

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • A rather new one made last year on PC, a c64 conversion from drax called
DRUDGERY (available at remix.kwed.org, MP3 version) otherwise, a really old
mod call KINGSTON GRASS (i don't have it anymore !!!) one of my less worse
    mods ..

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • all :) I think i'm not a good composer ...

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • It makes lots in demos: synchro, ambience (i remember lots of demos/trackmos
i kept only because of the music) in games, it's slightly different; (i don't
    play much games now)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I try, but i've not enough motivation to do it: many of demos coders i knew
are really busy with their jobs ...

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Mp3 is the logical extension to trackers: with a 50MB tracker file you get a
  • 3-4 MB MP3 file .. As quality really improved with PC's that's a good thing
  • (but with mp3 you can't appreciate the composer's work (look at the patterns
:)) as you can 'only' listen to the music .. but that's a personnal opinion ;)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Yes! First, I'd like to greet Archon/Adept, the BEST composer of all time! I
really *LOVE* all his tunes! thanks stello! Some of my fav tunes:
Switchback by Chromag - really a cool tune! still in the mood
Shape of an Era - switchback-styled tune by Nam ( who said Reflex ??:)))
composed at a Saturne Party in France if i remember correctly

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Hehe NO! I married 2 months ago, and some of my scene-friends brough an
AUDIO CD with all my mods on it, and sell it to people who were invited
What a shame! but it was my only moment of public glory ! :)))

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Beastie boys, French singers (De Palmas, Cabrel,
Goldman) ... & radio stations (Rire & Chansons)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Really bad drugs so-called sysop-ing, swapping, composing mods, being in
    front of a computer 18 hours a day ...
but seriously it gave me cool friends, some are still, some I met at
parties, some who areliving lightyears from my home,
It 'forced' me to practice english very often, and that's a good thing.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • NO, but some of my friends and I have a crazy project: make a musicdisk on
PC with AHX tunes ... FUN rulez!

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Ok, i'll take my time:)

message to anyone: i'm looking sor sourcecode of AHX replayer for PC ...
to archon: can you send me ALL your mods ? i'm sure i'm missing some
to all /X sysops i used to know: are you all webmasters now ;) ???
to ye ol'frenchy sceners i knew: alors on remonte quand un truc ??
    thanks.
