  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I first got interested in computers when I was given an Atari 800xl for
Christmas, way back in '84. My brother had previously been an Atari
cracker and I suspect he wanted me to follow in his footsteps.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Atari 800xl - just games really
Amiga 1200 - music, demos, games
An IBM clone (present day) - music, gfx, webdesign, games

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Around the time I got my 1200 I was heavily into "Jungle" or whatever you want
to call it, I had heard a classic in this genre was made on an Amiga, namely
"Urban Shakedown - Some Justice". Now, I figured if one tune was made on an
Amiga maybe a lot of them were. I decided to work out how it was done, found
protracker... you can guess the rest.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker on Amiga, dabbled with Octamed.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Heh, my first one. "Kick Back". And the ONLY track I ever released to the
scene. My goal was really just to prove to my "Jungle" loving mates that it
was possible with what I had, and there you have it. The track was finished
just in time for the Digital Symposium Party '95 and came joint 6th alongside:

"Paul Galbraith - Take What You Want".
    "Style/Anathema - Funky Trousers".
    "Witchunter/Debris - Speed-Up".

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • See above. ;)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Insurmountable. Music can make or break a demo or game. I am disappointed
I didn't get the opportunity for one of my tracks to appear in a demo.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • At this moment I'm taking a timeout from composing. I'm currently acting as
"engineer" for a friend who I used to write with. Until now I haven't stopped
writing tracks, don't let that one release fool you, I'm just never happy with
my tracks and at the time of my involvement with the scene, I didn't see fit to
    release anything else.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • monotonik/mono211 are dropping some seriously good pieces of music from
(ex)sceners. its a force to be reckoned with :).

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Too hard to answer that one, there's so many.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Unlikely, as all my scene tracks (unreleased) were lost.
But look out for some new stuff. After the current project is finished. :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • All the Mo'wax crew
    All the Pork Recordings crew
A lot of Drum and Bass (Misc)
    Brian Eno
    Handsome Boy Modelling School
Some of that "Hip-Rock" sound, shit admittedly but good in a "get me buzzin'" kinda way
    Anything good :)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A lot of friends, even if some of them were "single serving"

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Nope.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Shoutz to:

Kei and all the Carnage boys.
    All Eltech crew.
    Wilsh.
    Bliss.
    Reflex.
    Maverick.
All the guys I traded with, sorry but my memory ain't what it used to be.

    and on the darkside... Violator.

Peace, and if any of my old mates read this... get in touch boy!
