  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I think the kick came from VIC-20 and later when I got my first C-128 I
started using Future Composer and I think it was 1986. Those legendary tunes,
like IK, Sanxion etc. were so kinky that I wanted to start creating tunes of
my own. And very good friend of mine (Zardax/Origo) were also making good
    tunes with C-64, so...

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Vic-20 (sold), C-128 (sold), Amiga 500 (sold), Amiga2000 (at the closet :),
Atari ST (sold) and nowdays PC.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Actually, I also made gfx. So I wanted the viewers to see and hear ;) I coded
(basic) on Vic-20 but when it ran out of memory, I decided not to be a coder.
    Too limited for me. :p

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Future Composer (C-64), SoundTracker/ProTracker (Amiga), Cubase (Atari ST),
KCS (Amiga) and nowdays Cubase SX. Well, SoundTracker was very good training
and thinking to "emulating" real instruments and rhythms. So I think it´s the
base of my programming skills on sequencer.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • The ones, which are not released. :) Maybe in a future... The reasons are that
I thought they are not ready yet. But I haven´t had time to finnish them. Too
    bad.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Not actually. Every tune has been new experiment.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music is "all" as sound, also. It can be compared to watching a movie volume
turned down: you don´t feel anything. So good music and sound fx gives a
demo/game whole new dimension to control human feelings.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • At the moment, I own a studio with my two friends. We record and compose:
we´ve done music for few big companies web-pages and multimedia CD-Roms, music
for commercials, video etc. I also work as a designer making advertising: print
    and web.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well, general midi sucks, but all other formats: welcome.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Oh, there´s so many good tunes... I rather list some musicians: Laxity,
Rob Hubbard, Jeroen Tell, Bruno, 4-Mat, Heatbeat, JCH, Drax, Rhesus Minus,
    Tim FOllin... and many more.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Maybe in the future.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Toto, Depeche Mode, Vangelis, Enya, Clannad, Hans Zimmer, Red Hot Chili
    Peppers, many many many others...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Very good friends, sleepless nights, nice meetings/parties, very nice years ->
    thanx to all.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I try to find out things from internet: who is where and doing what. Actually,
I do not know is there still a somekind "scene"? I would love to do some
    "demostuff" in the future.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Zardax, Mixer, CLF, Destino, members of Albion/Amaze/Elysion.
