  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My interest for computers started in 1984 when my grandfather (rip) for
christmast bought me a faboulous Commodore Vic-20 :)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Vic-20, Commodore 64, Amiga 500, Amiga 1200, PowerMacintosh 7100 and a Pentium
    4 PC.

Actually I use PC for work... I work for an italian software house, but often
    I use my Amiga(s) (I've 3 A1200, 1 A500, 1 A500+, 2 A600, 1 CD32). Naturally
is with my first amiga that I started to do other stuffs with computer and not
    just play games.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I dont know... maybe that when I was younger I use to play the piano...
actually I play the guitar (I started in 1992) and I made some demotapes and
2 commercial CDs with two rock bands and I've a little project studio at my
    place.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker with amiga... but I know that I'm not so good with trackers ;)

Cubase VST with Mac and PC, is more powerful than a tracker but a tracker is,
for sure, more funny to use. By the way I love analogue tape recording, and I
use to search 'vintage' sounds, expecially for guitars, I think they have more
    'punch'.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I prefere my chiptunes. I think that are better than my others mods. But I
wanna say again that I dont think to be a great musician. I just love it and I
try to do it better that I can.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • I remember that during the 4ch compo at spoletium 1999 when my mod started
someone said 'this sound is ripped!'. Naturally wasnt ripped, maybe that was
the only sound that wasnt ripped :D

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Foundamental. I think that the music is foundamental to create the right
atmosphere... try to imagine TurricanII without music... is impossible!

Naturally must be the 'right' music for the stuffs that u can see in your
    monitor.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Actually I cant work as musician... I did it last years and, sometimes, I go
to some studios for guitar playing. I compose for myself and, when I can, I
try to compose with my amiga some mods for demoscene, expecially chiptunes.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Mod's quality is really low... is good for Amiga demos but we must think that
actually the world is different than some years ago...

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Too many, really too many :)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I plan it ev'ry day! :) By the way I've enough free time actually so the 'works'
    proceding really slow.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Black Label Society, Hellacopters, Creed... as u can imagine I'm a big fan of
hard rock and heavy metal bands.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A new idea of the vision of 'computer art', maybe that gave me the 'true'
    vision of it!

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Sure, maybe no so much sometimes, but I'm still active.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • All my friends in the scene! Expecially my mate Lando that is not only a good
coder but a true friend :)
