  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Sitting in awe behind my dad's 2086. 1980-something

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • 2086 <- sold
    2086 <- wrecked
    2086 <- wrecked
    4086DX100 <- sold
    p2-700-128
    athlon 1ghz -128

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • It interested me more at the time. at the time i was in an government
institution for 2 years due to (mildly) criminally insane behaviour (seriously).
There i met someone who gave me my first tracker program, and got interested
in it. Slowly i learned more and soon made the connection between tracking
and those old intro's i used to watch. Later i got into design and 3d aswell.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Impulse Tracker, Reason, AdlibTracker, Madtracker. Particularly Impulse
    Tracker, it's still my favourite.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Ubi Dubium ibi libertas was a complete change from my style, and i'm quite
    pleased with it.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Take your pick :) no reason in particular.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • In a demo it's essential. to a coder, watching effects on the screen is
undoubtedly interesting, and i myself find it interesting aswell, but with
music it can become a work of art, where the music becomes an integral
part of the onscreen animation. in a game, music is less important, but can
set the atmosphere of the ongoing game in a unique manner.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Semi-professional. i've recently been contracted by a media licensing company,
but someone still has to buy my music before i'll see any money. Otherwise
    mostly for fun.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Mp3 has conquered the world.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Condom corruption - travolta / spaceballs

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No. no cash.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Cobalt 60, Cradle of Filth, Bad Religion, whatever comes into my playlist.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A good solid base from which the modern scene evolved. This is where
many utils and techniques were developed, without which i would have
    never gotten into music.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Semi-active.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Everyone in S!P, Trinity, Cph, Aardbei, Solar, Tbl, etc etc etc.
