  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • hmm... I've always been interested in computers, but I'll just say that it was
x-mas'86 when I got Commodore 64 and the rest is history :)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Commodore 64, Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200. With C64 I mostly played games, but
when I got A500 I tried to code, drew some gfx and started composing some
music. At that time I also started swapping...

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Coding was too hard for me. I never really learnt assembler, etc. I still
draw some gfx. I've always been interested in music and i've played guitar
about 10 years, so it's much easier and more fun for me to compose some shit
than try to do something with asm-one or DPaint.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Noise-, Star-, Sound-, Fast-, and ProTracker. Also Digibooster, OctaMed, etc.
ProTracker is THE program which I use almost everyday.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • There's no such module. But if I'd have to pick one, I'd most propably pick
Akufunktio, The Beach, or,... It's really hard to say.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • All the tunes I made before 1996. They all suck!

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • It's really important to have good music in demos & games. Some games manage
to survive without music but demos without music are boring. I like to watch
demos with good gfx, music & design. Don't really care about those "awesome"
    hardcore 3d-codes...

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes I am still composing. Real music with my guitar and computer music with
my Amiga. I only compose for leisure purposes, I don't have enough talent
    for composing professional music :(

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well I only listen to mods, xm's, sids, and mp3's, I don't really care about
    .mids, etc.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Hmm... All tunes by Ukulele, Dizzy, Strobo, Heatbeat, Groo, etc.
    The list never ends.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I listen to all kinds of music, except boybands :)
Few examples > Dreamtheater, Jamiroquai, Eric Johnson, Slip Knot, Toto,
Dalis Dilemma, Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Brian Setzer, Nekromantix,...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Lots of friends, good memories, great demos, etc.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes, ofcoz :)

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Well I guess nobody ever reads this interview and the list of the guys
I know is too big, so I'll just greet everyone who knows me :)
