  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • It was back in 87 when i visited some school friends who owned a C64, you
can imagine what effect it brought about ... big eyes, never done my
    homework , gaming 24 hours a day .... . Then in 88 I bought an A500
fascinated by the Gfx. Till 89 i used it only for gaming untill i have seen
a Knight Hawks (ex StarFrontiers) Intro/Demo, with a Song composed by the
legendary Karsten Obarski, those guys(KH) lived in my hometown & after i
met them on a Black Monks meeting in town i decided to start trying to
    compose some Soudtracker Modules.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I only own my good old A500 with a mem extansion & it still works
    without probs 8)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Hmm, i loved that C64 SID tunes too much --> i got music addicted.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Prophets Soundtracker ( my first one )
Future Composer ( just to say i have used it 8)
    Mnemotron Protracker
Protracker by Noxious ( i loved to use this one most )
Protracker by Amiga Freelancers ( another great one )

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think they are all louzy but the last chiptunes i composed(in 93) i
    prefered most.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Hmmm, there are some really awful listning tunes ( my first tunes )
which aren't even worth to mention them here 8)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • I remember some old C64 games with some awful graphics but i continued
playing that games because of that fantastic SID tunes in it & forgot
all about the gfx so i think that music takes a not so unimportant rank,
    that goes for Demos,too.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • No, quit all composing activities because the lack of time.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Hmm, time goes on & thinks are changing ( greater,faster,farther 8).Yes,
there is a big selection nowadays for music formats but i still love MODS
MODS MODS or the similars (XM etc).Well, if the products are worth why don't
    respect the work one did.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Uhh, to many to list'em all up.
Just respect some composer i prefer most like:
Karsten Obarski, Dr Awesome, Heatbeat,Jochen Hippel, Moby, Ukulele, Jester,
Alister Brimble, 4-Mat ... all this well konwn legendary C64 SID composers
..... & of course many many other.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Chiptune CD ?? Hmmm, think not !

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?
  • Grace Jones, New Order, U2, Doors, Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky,
morcheeba, moloko, Rage against & many other.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?
  • It give me lots of friends, fun, a understanding & better feeling for music,
respect for other artists work, makes me more tolerant in every respect,
it broaden my mind & let me think diffrent about some probs.
All in one it gived me nearly all that makes out my person today.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?
  • I wish i would, but there is not enough time for it & the scene today seems
not to be the good old one, sorry.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Want to greet all those old Zenithicks ( Especially Case, Funschis, Art,
Fillipetto, Samir,Anome .. it was a great time Pals ),
Skybird(Infinity)/Backlash, All who knows me & all those who made/make
    the Scene interessting&possible 8)
