  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • 1989, my mother had a C64 at her workplace and I wanted to have one myself.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • C64 - mainly gaming
    Amiga - gfx, music, scene
    PC - music

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Making music was a mysterious thing for me, I was so proud when I finished a
song. I didn't have talent in graphics and coding but I felt a lot of
    motivation to make music.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Noisetracker, then a few of those multichannels but I can't remember their
names. I also used the Music-X sequencer before I moved to Cubase.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • I think my module for the demo Voyage in Storm was all I was capable of in the
    Amiga times.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • As I learned the basics of music making modules, the first dozens are a real
crap, but I still like to listen to them.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Originality and feel. There were a lot of games and demos I liked for their
music in the first place. A demo or game can often be over- or undervalued
    because of its music.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Since 1996 I've been playing in bands. I joined my current band in 1999, our
second album is on the way, it's going to be released worldwide. I also compose
    music on synths.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Unfortunately I haven't been following the music scene for long.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Klisje paa klisje still makes me shiver. I loved Knulla kuk (if that's its
real name) from the Quartex demo by Moby. Florence by Audiomonster is also a
great piece. I just love everything coming from Dizzy.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No, if I make a CD, it will contain my current compositions.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Dream Theater, Sting, Morcheeba, Pain of Salvation, Pat Metheny, Symphony X,
The Gathering, U2, to name a few.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Everything. It made me learn English (my major is English at the university now),
made me learn making music (which is a very important part of my life today),
and gave me a lot of friends.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Not at all.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I'd like to greet everyone who has ever contributed to the scene, and also
those who keep the spirit alive today.
