  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • In the mid 80's, when I got my first machine, a Sharp MZ-700.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Oh dear... here goes:
    Sharp MZ-700 (Coding, playing games)
    SpectraVideo (Coding)
    C64 (Coding, gaming, music, gfx)
    ABC80 (Nothing really)
    A500 (coding, gaming, music, gfx)
Intel 486 25mhz (gaming, music, gfx)
Intel Pentium 75 Mhz(gaming, music, gfx)
Intel Celeron 400 Mhz(gaming, music, gfx)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I've tried all of them, and music is what I do best, and enjoy the most.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Soundtracker, Noisetracker, Startrekker, OctaMed, ProTracker, ScreamTracker,
ImpulseTracker, Modplug Tracker, Orchestrator, Cubase, Sonar.

On the tracking side, ImpulseTracker is far superior, except for making
  • 4-channel mods, where ProTracker is the best choice.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Hmmm I never reach my goals.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • There are some tunes which I have more or less released accidentally, those
are usually terrible. I'm not too proud over all that dance music I wrote
    back in 1996-1998 either.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • A good demo with bad music is, unfortunately, a bad demo.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Both.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • It's not about formats, it's about music. Of course, when you listen to
tracked music, you weigh in the composer's tracking skills and techniques,
but generally I don't care about format issues any more.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Ahh, the usual ones, assuming that you mean demoscene music:
    Purple Motion - Second Reality
    Skaven - Catch that Goblin
    Radix & Lluvia - Tournesol
    Mr. Man - Sequestral
    Tip & Mantronix - Overload
    Captain - Beyond Music
    LizardKing - Varanen
    Subject - Foundations

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • I'm always planning that, but I never do it. =)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Machinae Supremacy, Amethystium, Blind Guardian, Anúna, Enya, Mike Oldfield,
West of Eden, Enigma, Loreena McKennitt, Nåid.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Friends and experience.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Not much Amiga nowadays, but I'm still active in the pc demoscene.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greetings go to the ppl at planetzeus.net and #trax
