  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Now that is a looong time ago.. Must've been around 1986 when I first saw a
C-64. I just had to have one aswell..

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Computer 1: A C-64, started out as a games machine, but after I found out that
someone in my class was active (in what he called the scene) I started getting
interested in that. I even did a bit of swapping.

Computer 2: Amiga 1200, bought it because I wanted an upgrade and since I
already had done some swapping I decided to continue this on the amiga.

Computer 3: A PC, still have it but lost interest in swapping or sceneing..

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I only made a few chiptunes, bacicly out of fun. I also tried a little gfx,
but that didn't seem to work and coding (don't get me started on that)..

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I used protracker.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • None of them, but since they where just for fun I could also say all of them..

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • None of them, but since they where just for fun I could also say all of them..
    hehe...

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • In a demo it's essential, most effects are timed to the music.. In games it's
a mood-enhancer (like in films), it only serves the purpose of making the
    player feel the game..

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I have stopped making music on my computer, simply because I have no time
    anymore.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I haven't heard any scene music since I left the scene (wich was about 4 or 5
    years ago)..

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I loved the C-64 theme wich was used for Green Beret..

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Alot of different music styles..

    - Underground pop/rock : Like Mogwai, Optiganally Yours, The Danielson
    Famille, etc.
    - Digital Hardcore : Like Atari Teenage Riot, Christoph De Babalon (who
uses an amiga), Patric Catani (who uses a c-64)..
    - Experimental electronic music: Like Autechre, Lali Puna, Plaid, etc.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It gave me alot of things, among others Friendship and Fun (alot of fun!)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • You, ofcourse. And everyone who once knew me in the scene.
