  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • In 1983 when my parent bought my first game system, the "vectrex".
Two years laters I started using the computers of my school (MO5)
and then ask for a C64 ... The story began there.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • I had a C64 for a long time. I really love that computer.
I played a lot on it, and tried to program it, without any success
(I was surely too young and I was lacking of help and infos).
I had then an ATARI ST, but I quickly changed for an AMIGA 500.
Some years later I bought an AMIGA 1200 when my 500 died.
    I still have my 1200 and my C64 ...

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • In fact I'm a coder that has made some musics :-)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I started with the first soundtracker and then protracker.
I was also using protracker as a sequencer for my KORG M1 synthesizer.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • "Globacitose" because it sounds nice and I made all the sounds.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Many ... I do not have any artistic feelings so my compositions were quite
    mathematic !!!

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Music and sounds are very important in multimedia products.
For a demo, music is surely 50% of the total feelings that people receive.
This is the same thing for a game.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I'm not composing anymore, but I'm a profesional game developper (I've worked
on 2 released games for playstiation2).

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Tools are more powerful than before. There are no limits now. The only limit
    is the musician imagination.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • "OccSanGeen" by Uncle Tom
"Dog eat dog" by Teborid / Hawk
"The unnamable" by Tebirod / Hawk
    "Dreamchild" by Tebirod / Hawk
"Fly and fall" by Tebirod / Hawk

    "SnowChips" by Parsec
"Enigma" by Tip and firefox / Phenomena
    "Klisje paa klisje" by Walkman

and SIDS (Rob HUBBARD, Martin GALWAY, ...)

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • no

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • A bit of everything.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • A really happy childhood !
I met a lot of nice people and had lot of fun.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No, but I'm now trying to create C64 intros !! Better late than never.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Keep the demo scene spirit.
