  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Playing "Lunar Lander" on the Commodore Pet... could it have been 1978-79?
Wanted to spice up the game (stupid idea!) and started to learn to code.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Commodore 128 -> Amiga 500 -> Amiga 2000
Mostly played games (Infocom adventures!) and did some coding.
(I still have them except for the 500!)

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • None, done it all, both gfx, music and coding but the music is perhaps
    the only thing ever distributed.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Played around with a very silly but extremely funny drum-machine program
on the 64 (can't remember the name)... Several tracker-clones on the Amiga.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Can't pick one... Sorry! Probably haven't done it yet!

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • None... proud of them all.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • I think the feel/mood of a demo/game is all depending on the music.
A crappy code with good music is something you can put up with for a
while, but a relatively good code with crap music is unbearable.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Mostly playing around with DrumStation, RubberDuck and Rebirth
    for my own pleasure...

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Midi usually sucks, so much variations in soundcards and such makes
it almost impossible to know how it was ment to sound. Wave is OK if you've
got the MEGS (and is wonderful to play around with) but high-bitrate mp3s
    is my cup of tea...

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The "Commando"-tune on the 64 is outstanding! And most of d-Zire's tunes
    on the Amiga.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No plans at this moment.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Antiloop, Dive, Kent, Autechre, China Crisis, Deep Forest, Delerium,
Enigma, Erasure, New Musik, OMD, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Yazoo, BlueTonicWorld,
Plumb, Tori Amos, Björk, Kate Bush, Enya, Sarah McLachlan, Peter LeMarc,
Mauro Scocco, J-M Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Jonn Serrie, A. Vollenweider,
Frank Zappa... I could go on forever.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Lots of friends and happy memories. An unbreakable Coca-Cola habit...

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Nope...

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • To anyone who ever was a Doodles-member: Hi!
