  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My father bought me a c64 in 1985, 'cause that one was allowed to import to
    eastern europe. :)

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • C64, amiga500, amiga1200, pc, I composed plenty, and played interkarate a lot.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Back on the c64 it wasn't clear then, but when i got the amiga, i couldn't
program in basic anymore, and 4096 colors compared to the 16 were simply too
much for graphics, the only thing i was able to use was the tracker, but
only for listening to mods. By the way, once I became third on a gfx compo, long
    time ago :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Acid, cakewalk, soundforge, FastTracker2, but i prefer playing thing live, as
nowaday i'm too lazy to code.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • With the music of the Subception demo by United Force, and the Missing Scene
64k intro's music was fun too, and the Bochmengarten Raggae xm also got
quite close to what i wanted.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Don't know, don't remember. There was an Impulse demo called Muscles,
well, that music isn't really what i imagined.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • To raise power consumption, as you have to switch on the amplifiers too,
    not only the screen.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes, for games, and I also have a band named "Mantra Porno",
i am the man behind the keyboards, and the art director too. :))

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • I don't have any emotional relationship with these formats.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Groo's music, among them the C42, and the Closer
Most of Nuke/Spaceman's track are amongst my favorites.
I like almost all of Audiomonster's, Flashback rulez.
The music of the 4-Mat In the kitchen demo,
    Dizzy's jazzy tracks,
And i have in my collection plenty of old 4 channel music, whose make me
    wonder even nowadays.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • no.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Last time i was listening to Morcheeba, but i have to compose, and play so
much i don't have time to listen to, only very rarely.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Dust allergy, nights without sleep, and summers spent indoors.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • If there's an United Force production to compose for, then i do it with
pleasure, sometimes i even make contributions to MP3 competitions.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Greetings and thanks to FooLman/United Force for the translation of my
    answers.
