  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • im a nerd. late eighties.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • c64 - play games
    amiga - protracker
    misc pc's - ft2, midi, code

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • actually i did a little everything. lately i've ended up doing more code
than music. apart from that i'm not sure really - code allways seemed too
cryptical for me, whereas a tracker is fairly simple. but i really allways
was found of music, so i dont think it was a choice between thoose three
options for me ... i would have done music even if i haddent got a puter i
    think.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • amiga : protracker, octaMED (and MED soundstudio), and a really bad
protrackerclone that came with my sampler called DSS or something.

pc : fasttracker2 mostly (still use it from time to other). lately buzz. and
midi-composers like cubase and the likes. i've tried using ztracker too, but
havent really got to it yet.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • oh. let me never be content.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • lots of my early ones for beeing crap. but then again - some of my old
    protrackertunes actually still are kewl.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • in a demo it is essential. mostly because demoes in there expression
resembles musicvideos more than any other medium. in games ... well often
annoying me thinks, but sometimes if the music fits the mood of the game it
    can be ok.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • its a little on and off ... in periods i do make something, but i would like
to spend more time on composing.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • for competitions on parties they (mp3) often make more damage than good, but
in theory i dont see the big difference between trackerformats and raw
musicformats. midi is a different story, since it isn't very portable -
therefore it shouldnt be used as a broadvcasting medium.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • i dig md of fm a lot.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • old tunes ? no. my tracked music is intended for tracker audiences, hence
probably a little too wierd for other ppl. ehm ... did that make sense ?

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • oh ... gybe, 16horsepower, a lot of soundtracks (like hans zimmer, danny
elfman etc. ... dust brothers - fightclub) ... and while typing this paul
    simon :)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • some friends. fun. a scene for playing my music.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • a little ... i try to attend major parties.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • wenix of opaque
all of fnuque + depth 'fcause ... hm ...
