  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • my parents bought a c64 in 1991... i got some demos/intros and some contacts.
then somehow i got demo music creator and started to compose music.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • only c64 and pc i've got.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • i learned music in school. so this is a good reason to compose rather than
    code :)

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • on c64: demo music creator
on pc: impulse tracker + scream tracker 3 + buzz

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • huh, hard question...
maybe my best is the tune of the "a place called universe" conspiracy intro.
but it is not a 4 chanel mod :)

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • yes, there are a lot of music :)
in the first times the starting of the music composing was hard. i found myself
the composer programs out, so those musics are the beginning...

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music gives "the feeling" (or athmosphere) of a demo/game/etc..
Without music a demo is not a demo, it is a big zero :) I think the
musician's work is the most important (after the graphician/designer.)
Hm, it is not true... code/art/music... if one is missing, the production is
empty, it has no value... erhm, am i compliciant? :)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • yeah, i'm still composing both on c64 and pc. only for the demoscene.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Nowadays, the mp3/ogg are very familiar. I still like mod's but i like
good mp3's with vocals, etc... but they are not the same category. Each
format has its category, i think it is not a good thing to compare them...
and each category has its feeling :)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • on c64: p.r.i. /oxyron, jeff /camelot, mitch and dane,

on pc: jeroen tel, jester /sanity, olof gustafsson, michiel van den bos, and
    a lot more

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • maybe... i'm working at a radio station and it takes a lot of my time. so
making a cd is in my future plans only...

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • currently? erhm... hungarians: anima sound system, anorganik, hot jazz band
others: machinae supremacy, depeche mode, a lot more...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • friendship, feeling, the first steps...

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • yes.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • greetings to the whole demoscene. guys, make demos/intros/musics/gfx to make me
    happy :)
