  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • At age of 6 I was impressed how I could 'control' my TV with a computer.
Started then to read the manual and code BASIC.
    The year was 1978.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Sinclair ZX81, Sinclair Spectrum, Timex 2068, Thomson MO-5, Amstrad CPC464,
    Amstrad CPC6128, Atari 520STF, Amiga500, Amiga2000, Amiga4000/040,
    Amiga1200T060.

First computers where just playing/learning machines, things start to get more serious with MO-5 (L'aigle d'Or owned that time btw hehe).
The Amstrad gear were good machines for me to start with some Z80 asm code.
Atari is Lame, Amiga is Fame !

Now we got something interesting with the Amiga, 4-channel 8-bit sound !!!
Started to code with A2000. The other Amigas were bought for speed reasons.
Note that I used the A1200 to play some live acts at some dance clubs.
Of course now using PC and Pegasos.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Actually I also gfx and code.
There is no doubt music is what I enjoy more to do.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I still use Protracker and Octamed (both normal and Studio versions).
Madtracker on PC, also CubaseSX, Logic Audio and Reason.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Well I can not tell you ONE module...
But I guess back in 1994 some tunes used in menus from DST's Armademon Packs.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Hell yeah! A module called Dream On I made for a compo back in 1991 at Iris
New Year Conference. Why?... Hmm I remember Moby standing behind me when I
was tracking with a strange face. No wonder... the tune was awfull :]

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Very important because:
    Bad Music=Bad Demo
    Bad Music=Bad Game

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes I am. 99% leisure I guess.
Mostly are used in intros/demos right now.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Just great, the more... the better.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • The music on TRSI's cracktro of Stryx from Psygnosis.

All chiptune in Great Giana Sisters, also like obviously the tunes from
Phenomena demos, and more and more...

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Yeap! I even have some tunes recorded on DAT already.
Using the 1200 and Octamed+some analog devices like TB-303/TR-909/MC-202.
Also porting some modules to professional would be fun.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Actually I listend all kinds of music.
Coldplay, The Verbe, U2, Hardfloor, dozens of Warp Records artists, etc...

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Friends, knowledge, lots of fun and gazillions braincells killed.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Yes, in Scoopex, Surprise! Productions and Syn[Rj].

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • I am the same person you've got in your database with nick Hybrid from Krom !!!
And I am looking for all that people in Rap Aces and Krom, please contact me guys.
Special greetz fly to those Krom+Rap Aces guys: Trax, Coroner, Dany, Abyss and all the old RTEL people who used to chat with me.
More greetz following... all the people at my groups and to Speckdrumm, Damones, rgba, ps/Tpolm^minimalartifact, FLT demo, TBL, Tristar, ex-TSL, Danish Gold and all those I forgot and should be here :)
Oh, yes! Get back to Amiga !
