  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I remember hardly, as my brother and me each got a Commodore C128D to christmas
about 1985. I was so excited and started to do stuff on it. doing grafix on 128
mode , where u have to manually enter all the coordinates and shapes. Then I
mainly used the C64 mode for games and grafic aswell and did some ugly sounds.
Then as I moved the school I found a really cool guy who called himself The
Black Cat :-). I learned much of him (thanks a lot) and we started a group on
C64 called TcN. I dont remember the magazine (maybe GameON) in germany. But we
made a game and send em to them. It was a shooter where The Black Cat did the
code and i've done the grafics. I think I still got the answer of the company
somewhere 8) that was the day I was interested not only to play with those
    machines.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • C128D
Amiga 500/2000 (still): Grafic, Music, Trading (best computers ever)
    S-NeS + Profighter X Turbo (still): Gaming / Trading
PC SX25: not much Gaming, Used for my S-NeS mainly.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • well I got excited anytime I started a tune.
the mainreason was a guy I met aswell on a usermeeting called Magic Ace. He
showed me much. and there was audiomaster in combination with my AEGIS
soundmaster (must be still in the basement). that was really professional
stuff in my eyes. I didnt released much but I really enjoyed this (many
unfinished tracks), I started so many that not even all reached a finish.
I think u guys know what I mean. maybe I should release some of 'em afterwards
cuz they still from the past :-).

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Well I cant mention it on c64 because I only loaded up tunes and tried to
edit them. it was just fun. Well and ProTracker was the best imo. then there
was this Bars and Pipes I remember. the "timing" if u can call that was mostly
out of sync. I am sure ppl remember that.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • You never reach your goal. cuz graficians or musicians with their creativity
doesnt care about a goal. they just get a thought and turn on the computer.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • that tunes are still on my A2000 :-)

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • well a demo is nothing without music. all must fit perfect together.
try let the people get into the demo by the sound. but as u can see even if a
demo aint that good with the grafic but the music is awesome people still
    remember those tunes :)

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • yeah, if I have some freetime I open cubase and do stuff. just as in the past.
mainly I do that for me or helping a guy get some of my stuff into his song.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • all that formats helping you to share it with people around the globe. any
format has its own reason. I like em but would prefer all would use the same
thing. the internet makes it possible to show ur stuff to anyone without
getting in contact with the crowd.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • "Acd Flashback" by Outzider/Darkzone
    "Desert Dream2+3" "Checknobankh" by Laxity/Kefrens
"Pandemonium" unknown, maybe some1 can help me out
    "Wizardry" Jester/Sanity
"Global Trash 3 v2" by Jesper Kyd (with that song in background I did much
    stuff)

    There so many!!

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No I dont think so. Anytime new ideas.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Oh well theres not really some1 special. Songs come songs go.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • I really enjoyed that time much. maybe the best I had in my life. there was
this "scene" and I was part of it, what I want more?
I loved meeting those scene people. many of em are still my friends and we
keep talking about those "good old times" or have a quick sit in @ weekends.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • No not anymore. Just leading my Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party clan.
    Meet me there guys.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • The Black Cat is the only one I want to greet right here. Bad we lost contact,
If I would list further more I am sure I forget some :-), so I greet all
ex-Amiga people I knew back in the old days.
