By conversion, I meant the file you see on amigascne.org are IFF/PNG. In demo, they are 99% of the time plain raw data. They are unreadable "as is" and require a conversion to said formats.
A logo/charsets/graphics repository would be great. I think amigascne.org is a very good start. There are no "WinUAE" snapshots in there.
An integrated gfx ripper in WinUAE would be great. Though, I won't be the one who will code it. Main reason is that I wouldn't know how to do it. You see, ripping/converting music files is most of the time possible as there's a structure that can be recognized. Here, any single byte could be a picture. Also, I have no knowledge whatsoever about Amiga graphics.
Besides, I certainly don't have the spare time for that kind of project.

Gfx ripper is here : http://retrospec.sgn.net/game-links.php?link=gfxrip

Ok I found out that graphics ripper by tomaz kac IS gfxrip the very same prog I once used... Life sucks...thx for the link anyway!
Now, on amiga environment I tried ripit  (sadly, shareware). Seems full of promises (time will tell)...

Well, I gave another shot to graphics ripper by tomaz kac, I successfully ripped some demos charset/fonts with it, and for logos and pics, hrtmon 2.30 (in winuae) was helpful mainly because it saves pics in iff format. However all my pics saved were tagged as AGA Sad none of them mentions interlacing or real colorspace
so AFAIK this tool dont detect and record screenmode used by the picture displayed...

so now, the real question:
is anybody know a tool that can record pics as iff AND record the exact screenmode (including if interlacing or not, if ehb or not and colorspace). If this tool exists I'll be able to seriously continue my ripping...

This has gone quite a bit off topic Wink
Still, about the Amiga tools to rip gfx. Here are some :
http://kestra.exotica.org.uk/demo.php?id=24013
http://kestra.exotica.org.uk/demo.php?id=24439
etc.
Not sure you can use these but, heh, it's worth a try Smiley.

@Crown:
a Dark Demon logo has been uploaded to http://artcity.bitfellas.org/index.php?a=show&id=19710
Unfortunately, the author is unknown, do you remember who made this giant logo?
