Modinfo attached.

Got a couple of mods called Silence-Part 1 & Part 2.  Both are not credited as such, but they do share some samples but thats about it.

Looking at sample31 text, maybe the author of both mods.  Does anyone recognise if "Ub@" as a possible nickname for these mods?

Hi,

This comes, apparently, from the following PC demo:
http://www.scene.org/file.php?file=/parties/1994/assembly94/demo/silence.zip
So, the musician is Cube Smiley
Please, send over both musics as I wasn't successful at ripping the music from the aforementioned demo quickly.

Thanks Asle for the info, nice find  Wink

I've uploaded them to the ftp.

Had a quick look through the exe and noticed mention of Silence Part 1 & 2, noticed another one for Silence Intro. As I dont remember where I got these 2 mods, maybe I ripped them back in the DOS days or I downloaded them from somewhere else. Not sure if there is a 3rd mod or its just part of the demo with the intro mention.

Is Gateways to Jambala.xm a confirmed !Cube tune?  I seem to remember downloading that from an FTP site but they had it in the Teque/Nitro folder.

Also, while on the subject of !Cube, those 3x .it files.  I have those and they are credited to Cube & Sphere, is this the same Cube? (cos I have 5 more Cube & Sphere mods).

Gateway to Jambala is by Cube (Check this).
Just added co-author Wink.
Can't say about IT files. No time to check just now.

That was probably on MODLAND, I corrected it a couple month ago. Actually AMP has several of the coop info wrong or missing:

Anterpe-Kiew.xm..............Nitro & Teque
Final Reality Music.xm.......Teque & Purple Motion (Skaven wasn't involved, some of his "Unreal II" demo music was reinterpreted for the city flight scene and end credits)
Gateways Part II.xm.........Nitro & Teque
Gateways to Jambala.xm...!Cube and Teque (Nitro wasn't involved here)

Yes, it's the same !Cube.

[Gateways to Jambala.xm...!Cube and Teque (Nitro wasn't involved here)

Lifted from the detailed credits from the demo...

Music, part one . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . !Cube
Music, part two . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Nitro
Music, remastering, remixing & guitars  . . . . . . Teque

Reading the credits, Gateways to Jambala by !Cube and Gateways Part 2 by Nitro.  How much Teque did with one or both tunes is hard to say.  But, I'd agree, Teque probably helped on both mods.

@deus-ex - Do you have any background info on the Cube & Sphere .it modules?  The ones on Modland looks like the ones I sent way back to Daniel and I have no idea where they came from.  Also strange is that Sphere, as a handle is not mentioned on AMP or Modland for any other modules, apart from these with Cube.  I suppose they could be experimenting with Impulse Tracker, cos they sound nothing like !Cube's previous stuff and they are in .it format.

And there is a Silence (Intro) mod in the demo. Only plays for like 15 secs, contains a couple of effects, as its an intro for the demo.

All 3 can be downloaded from http://www.scene.org/file.php?file=/demos/compilations/demodulate/silence.zip

Sorry, I stated this wrong. Actually we do not have them linked to !Cube. They are stored on MODLAND in the subfolder "Impusetracker\Cube\coop-Sphere". And since Daniel did not want !Cubes (Toni Lönnberg) folder name to have the leading "!" for sorting/maintenance reasons I just mixed both artists by accident today. As I do have my own private references which I just looked up I found out about my mistake. Smiley

Hmm, I think I'll better add the term "(other)" to the folder name in the Impulsetracker section.

the 3 IT AMP stores are now also linked to another (unknown) Cube.

Thanks both of you for these details Smiley
