how's acta/pipa/sopa affect this site ?
Someone added this to the one-liner, and I too was wondering what these laws would mean to this site and others, as well as some of the other retro type sites out there, if they ever were introduced?

At first, I'd say AMP doesn't mainly feature copyrighted products at all (thanks to demoscene), I'd even say they may want to stay away from potential conflict (deus ex demo only OST for instance). As long as no big bucks are made (or, perceived to be, lost by the legal owners) everything should be safe. But, yes, this is not based on facts, more on "rational behaviour".
What would happen to the generic retro focused websites ? Threats are severe, I have some worries. Now if these laws are not crushed by the masses, let's hope that trademark owners will balance the pros and cons before taking action, because unauthorized reproduction of trademarks is, in many cases, also a free promotion.

We could aswell move to Russia. For some reason the operations (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Buccaneer
,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Fastlink
, etc.) seem to stop at the frontier.
