Looking for more info about the 2 mods below that have been added to Modp3 recently. We did browse through AMP, modland and modarchive briefly at different times but didn't find anything. the We Are different one, my guess would be from a demo maybe, but nothing i recall! Testing Faster may (i have a feeling) be known by another name altogether?? Testing Faster sounds early 90's while WAD is more mid-late 90's. Testing Faster info, download mp3 or mod UPDATE: by Assassin/LSD (Lee) We Are Different info, Download mp3 or mod UPDATE: by Voice/Appendix Any help would be appreciated!!

hi, I couldn't find those files anywhere either. Still, I strongly believe "Testing Faster" was composed by Echo/LSD. It's not in our archive, but it's very much like his work. Maybe we could ask him . Crown ? Now "We are different" is very difficult one to trace, also, but being a converted file suggest indeed it comes from an Amiga demo, and probably a recent one (i.e. > 1993). It might also be a music entry at a party. Ah well, I'm afraid that's the best I can do for now. Cya Sylvain

There is a We Are Different.mod by BC/Eltech in the Protracker/BC folder on Modland. Sounds pretty similar, shorter playtime and filesize. Maybe an unfinished version?
And also here on AMP... LoL

thanks, but i dont think that is the same (revised) mod, unless its a Version2.0 The similarity comes from both being a remix of the same song, and from 5-6 version i've listened to this is the closest!

Cya Sylvain 'Testing' was a track written by Assassin/LSD (Lee) as one of his ideas for a JOEs style demo after I told him I wanted help with a successor (Satan on Speed). He sent me a mod called 'testing' - one which I made go a bit faster before sending it back, hence the comment in the mod. All completely unfinished work. Satan on Speed never came to fruition. Hope this clears up some stuff! Graham

The AMP databse for The Assassin, lists Was a member of: Dimension X (DMX), Eltech (ELT), Narcotic (NTC), IMP - but not LSD as pointed by graham. Will somebody see this and update the info?? and here is the original (testing slower) testing 4-09 mod if anyone is interested. regarding WAD, i search briefly on pouet.net for demos with WAD or we are different in the title but nothing, might post over at ADA about that one! edit- Graham, would you have any idea what year testing faster was released/made? and do you mind if i quote you on your info about the mod?

Brutal: No problem. Testing was from 92/93 - I can't be more specific, sorry.

I don't *think* the demo ever actually materialised, at least, not an LSD production.

Hahaha .. I don't believe it ! I was indeed not far. Original by The Assassin and updated by Echo Well, I must have listened too much to the fantastic Pinball Prelude musics (Nemoralis and the like) Thanks for the clarification ! Sylvain
