I dedicate this song to her.

March 30th-April 4th
The samples in this song have been ripped from modules by Awesome,
Warder, Spin Dizzy, Skaven, Walkman, Pulse, Jase, Purple Motion and
others. Sorry I still don't have my "own" samples library, but I had to
finish this tune at all costs. Forgive me =)

April 16th
I had VERY much trouble with this one... after some weeks' work (didn't
have much time this month) IT saved all the instruments as pure garbage
because Windows was clearing its cache files at the same time...
grrrrrrrrr...

It took me several days to reconstruct the samples - yes, they were
ripped, I admit it, but the finetuning and resizing was very unnerving
anyway!

Now the worst part. Today they played a song of Gheorghe Zamfir
(performed by James Last) on the radio, and to my horror I realized that
it sounded quite the same as the starting notes of my module... no wonder,
since Jeanette likes Zamfir a lot and the vague memory of his work must
have interfered with what I had proudly called "my idea".

Well, that is kinda different to the story with that Mike Oldfield touch
of "A Knight's Tale"... (greetings to Zaba, BTW) but heck, THIS really
upsets me. I think after finishing this song I'll let go tracking for
a while...

April 19th
Resized some samples... and discovered something strange but useful: By
increasing the size of a sinoid sample (like the flute) with inter-
polation, in some cases the dreadful clicks between notes seem to vanish
or they get fainter at least. Too bad it didn't work with the female voice
sample. :-(

April 22th/23th/24th
Cannot find a way to write a DECENT alternative theme for the last part
... the guitar is getting on my nerves... I don't even know whether it is
actually POSSIBLE to PLAY these notes in real life, using only one
guitar and two hands!?

;-)

May 4th
I added the finishing touches yesterday night. There are still some
little errors but I hope not too many people'll find them out :-)
If you copy this song to a tape, make sure the equalizer of your stereo
equipment is in the exact middle everywhere, and turn off any bass
amplification you have. Dolby B recommended.
