  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • My brother bought a c64 and I liked the SID musics very much. Must be 1986
    or so..

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • c64,a500,a1200, and PC now. I have mainly drawn graphics throughout the
years, but music has been my second interest from day one I heard the SID
chip. Obarski's Soundtracker was the first editor I felt comfortable with,
since c64 editor's (the one's I know of) made me calculate too much.
    And I hate hard thinking.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Music is something special. It's the vibes. Even though I'm a visual
orientated dude, I get goosebumps from a classical composition where you can
feel the story or a smashing Fusion track makes me shiver as well.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • C64 (editors): Funky Drummer, Future Composer, MON routine, 20CC routine,
    Music Assembler

    Amiga: Soundtracker - Protracker 2

    PC: Fasttracker 2

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Jimi Hendrix. It placed me on the big map of mod composers.

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For What reason?

  • Jimi Hendrix. Gravis made a lot of money with Ultrasound, and I
    wasn't even asked.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • Unmissable. Just like the code and graphics.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Thank God only for hobby. Sometimes I do something profesionally, but only in
case of an emergancy. My music isn't too commercial.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • The only other real cpu music other that mods and family are SID tunes.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • -All Heatbeats-Smokey a joint (?) by Audiomonster
    -Razor 1911 music disk mods
    -Mahony and Kaktus music disk
    -Dizzy's

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Why???

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Zappa, Miles Davis,

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • Parties, music knowledge, Friends, Neurotic behaviour.

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Now and then.

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Heatbeat rules.
