Date of birth:

1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

My neighbour bought a Plus-4 in about '88, so i was amazed by it. :)

2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

Plus-4: Some very basic coding.

Amiga : First composing musics, then coding.
2 releases: Illicity - 2nd at Scenest '97 (64k intro)
Lights And Flares - 1st at Amiganica 1 (64k intro)

PC : Coding, musics

3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

I always love musics, i learned playing piano, and i playing on drums now,
so melodies were always close to my heart. And also, i code too... :)

4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

Soundtracker :), OctaMED, MLED, DigiBooster, and MadTracker on pc.

5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

Floating, Slipping Away, and some of my more recent mods.

6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

Yes, there are always some, the early ones were not the best ones... :)

7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

The hours spended with the composing of it, and the talent, the soul of
the artist, all mixed in the tune.

8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

I am still composing, an i also have a band, where i play drums, but that's
only for leisure. (Sadly, in my country, it's very hard to be professional
with this kind of music... :( )

9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

I think there are a lot more value in the old mod, sids, xm-s, etc...
Today, someone by the latest version of Make-A-Music V20.0, make some
click with his mouse, and there it is, the 'music'... It's not the way
someone compose a music, it's not music, its the random composition of
some pre-written tracks. It's not unique, it's not a piece of the one, who
made it... Of course there's always been exceptions, but i think, there is
much less so great musicians nowadays, as it used to be.

10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

Cyberotica by Clawz, all works of Purple Motion :) (Satellit One, Captured Sun,
Aquaphobia, etc.), the mods of Dr. Awesome of Crusaders, Quodlibet? by Groo,
tunes of Audiomonster, and of course the classic chiptunes ('Monday' is the
all-time favourite.... :))

11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

I don't think so...

12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

Dream Theater, Fusio Quartett, Ayreon

13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

Unforgettable memories, best memories ever...

14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

More or less, but yes. :)
