  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I got my first computer in dec 1988. It was a SVI-728 MSX.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Among that MSX I've got some PC's, A500, A2000, A1200/030 and of course C64.
Until 1994 I just liked to play with my computers. As a kid I tried to compose
some music with my MSX but it was quite difficult since the only way I knew
to make music with it was "programming" the songs with Basic.. With C64 I
have made graphics, also the same with my Amigas. I've always composed with
a PC, though I have always liked the 4channel format, so the most of my tunes
    are ProTracker mods.

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I'm too dumb to become a coder, so I started making music and gfx.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Scream Tracker 3 and Impulse Tracker 2.x on PC.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Huh.. Do I have a goal? Do I have to have one?

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • The most of my tunes are really to be forgotten.. If you

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • A lousy soundtrack may kill the whole demo's athmosphere, but good music
cannot save a lousy demo. I think that in most of the newer demos the music is
quite boring. I don't know about the games since I do not play computer games
    at all.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yes I am, for leisure purposes. Though I do not compose modules etc.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • This is a weird question. You probably mean DEMOSCENE mpegs? Well, I know
almost nothing about demoscene today, so I really cannot say anything about
the situation of scene music today. But when we're talking about real music,
in my opinion the music today is boring. Also all kinds of radio stations
with small playlists suck ass. The music business has really became a music
BUSINESS, where people are just concidered to make money, not to make
    unforgettable melodies and harmonies.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • I love sweet and melodic chiptunes.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • Never, if you're talking about my modules. :)

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Camel, Yes, Jethro Tull, early Kraftwerk, Renaissance, Gracious!, Wigwam..

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It has given me many good friends and contacts, and a way to survive through
my teen years as a nerd ;)

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • Nopes. Is anyone really?

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Hoplaa. Pitäkää ittenne ihmisinä.
