I thought that since there's a channel for Amiga Ripping, I'd open it up with something.

So, here we go, with the musicdisk A Taste Of U4IA by Megawatts.
The LHA archive actually contains all the music data in a sub directory. All is crunched with Imploder (replace PP20 by ATN! in each header). Once decrunched, and joined, we get 5 packed music files, that are very similar to Protracker, save for the pattern data (and the "M.K." being replaced by "JS92")
In fact, only the note packing differs from Protracker. It is very simple and obviously done for replay matters.
Here it is :
0000 0000  0000 0000  0000 0000  0000 0000
|       |  |       |  |  | |             |
  \     /    \     /    \/   \           /
    note       smp     empty    fx arg

I've written a small depacker, which src code is attached.

Well, that was it. Oh, and yes, the musics, while apparently known, are slightly different from the ones we (AMP) store. I'll add those once I get the chance.

Any question ? Feel free.

Hi Asle,

thanks for this brief explanation. I think it's very useful to have tip abut module ripping. :)
