Hi there!

Musician: Charles Callet
This is a request from an old friend willing to retrieve one of these tunes,
seems that this file is not widely spread...

Thanks for your help!

Asle

hum .. but the music can simply be copied from the game disks.
Your problem might be to get them be played. Exotica named this format "infogrames". DP recognize it as "RobHubbard_2".
Whatever the name, it's still available as is.
If OST means Original SoundTrack, then that's the best you'll get.

Tell me if you got difficulties locating the game.

err...... ;) ...OK.
I've copied all files from gobliins II disks 1, 2 and 3 (I used ADF version, skidrow cr) to a windows folder
but I dont locate correct music files So I tried loading files into Modplug and XMplay but all I get is messy sfx...

I'm stuck again...

ok, the musics are attached.
As you might have guessed, they go by pairs (.dum + .ins). Just drag and drop any .dum along with the .ins on DP, for example. Can't say about other players.

You overestimate my knowledge regarding amiga formats ;)
I didnt know that one file (.ins) was the sound data (sort of sample storage I guess) with other files being the instructions sets (sort of... I guess) that could load these tunes correctly.

OK. Thats a success, I've loaded these tunes you transmitted into Deliplayer and XMplay. They play well!
Me and my old buddy thank you for your help :D !!

Oh, there's one question, The G2.dum tune seems to be rendered with tempo accelerated, do you know the reason? Additionnally if you have any doc/links/info about how to merge these files into generic mod formats (if possible), I am interested!

Thanks again Asle!

I wouldn't know why the replay doesn't run at correct speed, I'm afraid. But now that you mention it, I recall that there was a similar problem with Captain Blood music. Maybe the replay is faulty. I checked Wanted Team page and there's no trace of a replay for that down there (or I didn't find it ...), so I can't propose any alternative, aside asking nicely to Don Adan to have a look :)
Regarding a conversion, well, again, I have no idea about the structure of the format, so wouldn't know where to begin :).

Sorry I can't help more.
