According to Firefox^Phenomena : http://www.bitfellas.org/e107_plugins/radio/radio.php?info&id=188

Musiklinjen http://amp.dascene.net/downmod.php?index=27414 should be called Hyperbased...
So I don't know where this musiklinjen title originally came from.. ?

I guess it's yet another scene "common knowledge" that is wrong.
So yes, we know about that but we were never able to locate the original music.
The demo holds a Noisepacker so the real music name was lost.

If you know where to find the original, please, send over :)

In fact, we know since Azatoth told us all as a comment in Nectarine, a few years back.
However, nobody (including him) still had the original music. I guess Crown asked Firefox some time ago, but it's not online and it's not in the "to be uploaded" list either, so, I guess it's nowhere, presently.

Crown has not logged on for more than 140 days now. He might have had a reply from FF in the meantime :).
And, I think you're right, Scott.

Hi Sylvain,

could you drop a note to Crown to check if everything is alright with him, if you haven't done already?
Best regards

Ok, just resurrecting this thread as it seems pointless to start a new one.

I came across this mod earlier and I'll attach the ModInfo to this version of the mod from the Enigma demo...  This particular version only has 58 patterns and the sample text intact, it also has a datestamp of 03/11/1991 and is called "the_final_hyperbase".... Anyone aware of this version?

Yes, I know this one. AMP's version is the most wide spread one which was ripped from the Enigma demo and converted using Pro-Wizard. MODLAND's version has the same playtime (5:33) and count of patterns (64) but is of slightly smaller file size and has the sample texts unaltered, named hyperbased.mod. I guess Tip & Firefox released a standalone version after the Enigma demo went public, probably with some final touches and therefor named it "The final Hyberbase.mod". It has fewer patterns (58) and the playtime is 4:47.
