Gooroo & Goo-r00
« on: October 06, 2010, 18:48:40 »
This might be aimed more at Deus-ex than Asle or Crown.

I have several mods by Gooroo (Chris Egerter), all are either .it or .s3m.

I also have several (26) from a Goo-r00 (and several other variations of it), but all these are in .xm format.  Now I'm aware that there are a few on Modland, most probably uploaded by me.  This Goo-r00 was in N-zone, did a few co-ops with other members of N-zone I'm presuming, and I'm also presuming I downloaded these off the now defunct TiS back in the day.

Is this the same Gooroo or another Goo-r00 (lol), and does anyone have any info on these .xm modules or the artist?

Yo Bro, it's rime time:

In total we know of two
artists named GooRoo. ;D (awesome, isn't it?)

1. GooRoo, Chris Egerter, Canada, KFMF
2. GooRoo, Goo-Roo, Samuel Collard, France, N-Zone, Kromozome, NitroPhusion, ToadStood

Axxy, may I point you to:
Code: [Select]
ftp://ftp.modland.com/pub/documents/artist_list.xls
This holds all the artist and group info which we could gather over the many years. It's freely available to everyone. Any additions and corrections are welcomed.
Best regards

Mines timestamped to March 2008 lol. Must be I downloaded it years ago and just never noticed it, probably just copied off my backup drive when I got a new computer.  Was the spreadsheet a separate file or in the allmods zip?

Maybe Daniel will feed the hamster soon!  8)

I thought this was obvious when I posted this.

When in doubt, it's you of course. :D  Fun aside, the server took a couple days off from work but could be convinced to pick up duty again.

Anyway, I don't have MS-Excel :)

And you don't have OpenOffice.org available, too? Anyway, I can provide you with the file converted to TXT-document anytime, just give me a sign. ;)
