Hey,

Woaw, we had nothing for this one ;)
OK, all add/updated,  save for the group Vertigo. As is, it's a Finish group and _very_ unlikely JCL was part of this one (~1990). We have also a "vertigo prod." but the authors in there are from unknown countries ...
Anyway, another to be sorted out by Crown, I guess :).

Thanks a lot !
Sylvain

RE Vertigo: Found this mentioned in several of his modules, which btw. doesn't necessarily need to be the Finish group Vertigo. There could have existed a Spanish group Vertigo as well sometimes.

Woah, I never noticed this one :-)

I know this is old, but the Vertigo group was this one: http://www.pouet.net/groups.php?which=2952 which had Vector (grom Guatemala), TimJ (from UK) and Leviathan (the US one).

Oh, by the way, I don't know where it came from, but this track: http://www.amp.dascene.net/downmod.php?index=116197 is definitely not mine. I've seen it added to other collections as mine (and I notified them in time). I don't know the author, however I definitely had listened to it before... maybe I inadvertently uploaded it somewhere by mistake and it spread from there.

Do you have the source of it (where did you find it) so I can notify?

Hello Javier,

welcome to the Forum! Thank you for the provided information, regarding the tune you mentioned I corrected the MODLAND database accordingly. Asle surely will take necessary action for AMP's database soon. I'm afraid I do not know were the module originates from, maybe Asle knows more?

Actually, just out of curiosity, I found the original module: http://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=135454.

The one put "as mine" seems to have the comments removed and it's saved as a .IT (the original one is a .XM). The original author seems to be "Daniel Alcala" (with nick "Trackman") -to whom I don't know personally-, and regarding the comments, it was published in the very old Spanish magazine "PCMania" (which used to come with CDs or floppy disks filled with modules and demos)

It may have been my mistake... I had some modules I stored around to rip samples from, and I may have uploaded it somewhere without noticing (maybe doing some batch upload it may have been among my modules). If that was the case, I don't know where... it would have been almost 20 years ago! :-)

The author's e-mail is a college one, I'd bet he's not there anymore to contact him :-)

Ah, anyway, I'll look if other collections have it listed as mine and notify them :-)

Thanks for everything!

hi,

Not being 100% sure, here. I believe AMP's version comes from scenesp.org. Almost all "JCL" musics were added at the same time, so it must have been from a common source.
This music is not listed anymore under you nick :) AMP doesn't know any Mr. Alcala (yet).

Thanks for telling us about the mistake.
Cheers
Sylvain
