Metro demo
« on: March 11, 2012, 12:24:10 »
This demo has appeared on Pouet along with Metro 2 now.

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=58843

The first one has a Lizardking mod in it, which I couldn't find. I did a quick scan through with PW. All it found was a newtron format or something???  Anyone recognise the LK mod in it or have it?

Edit

Seems Metro 2 has a mod in it to, written by Ufoman. Never heard of him/her tbh. PW didn't like the Player 3 mod in it and tried to write out a 3gb module... lol

Yup, The Player 2.2a :)
So, not part of PW, of course, at least, not the version in WinUAE.
I've put the P22a file online here : http://amp.dascene.net/download/PLX-Metro1.ThePlayer22a
plays well, as is, under DP.

I tried a looooong time ago to depack this one, but didn't finished it.
Sylvain

Sorry, missed the "metro 2" part :). It's a The Player 3.0a in this one.
Decruncher done some time ago. Original plays great in DP:

Cheers Asle!  8)

The Lizardking one drops nicely on PW so that one's cool. The other one won't.  :(  Does anyone know anything about Ufoman?

Unfortunately, I don't use DP (PC) anymore. It never liked my playlist, certain formats would just cause it to give up the ghost.  It would have been an excellent way to catalogue my collection, because of the Playlist editor, but Florian and Peter never included a way to export it as CSV format when they were still developing it for the pc.  Great player, shame they stopped developing it.

I suggest you keep the decrunched P22a for yourself. the decruncher has some flaw (loops, etc.).
As for the other P30a, it's a work in progress (~3 years now :) ).
Shame indeed, for DP.
