Trackering
« on: February 28, 2013, 09:22:09 »
All

I'm done adding and completing AMP with all entries of The Trackering compos (#1 to #32).
Now, I've searched a little but ... , was ever the #32 result published ?!? If anyone knows, please, send over !

Last, going through these packages made me add a few authors of whom we know next to nothing.
Among those:
Recc
Hires
Tanigon
Partydvargen
Klausi
Headphone
Keefa-Z-
Archon
Merlin
Dr. Clone
Not Opus
Grin
Clepto
Libra
Coiled
Interphaze
Arclight

Probably some known people up there, but I failed to recognize them. So, any insight about any of those authors would be welcome (or additional material ;) )

Sylvain

I've up'd some mods by some of those listed above, and they may or may not contain a few more details about the composers.  ;)

Tbh, even i'm sketchy on some of them as i've never heard of them before either.  AMP is probably a little thin as I would imagine a few of them are PC only....

I really need to look through Archon and Merlin as I have a few by them, but it seems there are a few different Achons's and Merlin's.......

thanks for the upload :)
OK, some stuff for Tanigon. Member of Project Gabbangelion (PG). Surfed a bit archive.org and found Jea. Smells like a Japanese team.
For Hires, I guess it's all clear.
I'll handle the rest of your upload (Arclight & Keefa-Z-) tomorrow or over the week-end.

All right, back on track after last week-end problems.
Keefa-Z- done. All basic infos found as well as an extra musicdisk on hornet.org.
ArcLight is updated as well, but with groups only. There's some hint for him/her being an american, but US/Canada ? Anyway, musics will follow.
Thanks again for the upload. Hope you'll do some more once the ftp is back up and running   ::)

Taken from Nexus' "water into acid.it"

This track was originally written for a CD
project by Paul Zyla (aka Arclight) and me.
Unfortunatelly this project was never completed
due to the lameness of the record company I
approached.

Problem solved...  8)

Paul Zyla began his adventures in electronic music in 1994 after his 8th grade science teacher handed him a copy of Front 242′s “Tyranny For You”, inspiring him to start hammering out tracks of his own. After several years releasing in the 90s tracker music scene, he put out his first EP under his current moniker Relative Q, with the legendary proto-netlabel Chill Productions. Another EP, two albums, remix work, and a number of compilation appearances would follow, on such labels as One Recordings, anal0g.org, Petite+Jolie, Young Robots, and dPulse. He is also 1/2 of up-and-coming nu-disco act RCMP, and a founder of the label Young Robots and the netradio/podcast series ultrawizardsword. He has also contributed mastering and production work on releases by a number of artists including Skinny Friedman and Nico’s Gun.
In his live and DJ performances, Relative Q draws from a wide range of influences, from heavy techno to gritty house, and maintains an experimental and melodic edge to his work
