Not sure if this forum is still read, but I went looking for a few modules I hadn't heard in forever by Mosaic and found them on modland but noticed they weren't here.. so maybe you can sync up and grab the missing ones :)

^^ modland list

Even if you don't want the c67/670 modules there's a bunch of others from the normal formats.

I'm especially amazed that modland managed to get the songs Rose Intro and TDT World Domination, they were only released inside BBS intro loader exe files inside of ACiD art packs and are very obscure.  Sadly even including modland there is a missing one of his TDT modules that now may be lost forever - I can't completely remember the name of it though, except it had the word 'old' in it, like 'the old song' or something.

He was one of my scene idols (along with C.C.Catch) and friends back in the day as a Renaissance fan, and as a fan of the Amnesia music..   a lot of people don't know he was in TDT (The Dream Team) which was a famous warez group, but not sure if they ever did any intros or demos.. he might've been a courier, I can't recall, but as you can see he credited himself from TDT, before he was in Renaissance.

Cheers..

Hi and welcome,

I don't really know if this is read, indeed. At least, it's still online :)
Short answer : I won't grab from modland to feed AMP. It may sound weird but that's an old policy. Give me real sources (those art packs you're referring to for example), please. Replicating other's work by considering it is correct at face value is the best way to spread mistakes - if demoscene "history" taught us anything.

I'll keep this topic on my TO LOOK FOR list :)

Alright well I found one of the two..

http://artscene.textfiles.com/acid/ARTPACKS/1993/

The pack is acdu0493.zip and there is a loader exe in there CP-ROSE1.EXE - the rose garden .STM format (scream tracker 2.0) file is from that, so it would have to be ripped.  It sounds better in the loader than any other player I've played it in, not sure which is correct lol

Might be interesting to check all the packs from 92/93/94/95 and see if there are rippable songs in EXEs..

There are also plenty of songs in diskmags, like:

http://artscene.textfiles.com/emags/1993/

adren-1.zip has songs by Piano Man and The Blue Adept, which are 2 musicians not on AMP

Then again, none of this stuff is THAT great.. I'm not sure if you're really trying to get everything or have quality control :). But it's all very nostalgic for me..

Hi,
Thanks for your extensive reply and for suggesting several sources !
I took a little time to check this CP-ROSE1.EXE intro. It contained, indeed, a STX file. I've added the STX2STM conversion to AMP just now.

I'll dig up those numerous packs when spare time allows. Expect results hopefully soon :)

All the best,
Sylvain

All right, I've checked it all and it led to a few additions and some fixes (replacing bad rips).
Thanks to you.

Overall, only one Mosaic music, though.
I'll keep my hopes up :)
