Files upload / Unknown mods in upload dir
November 12, 2021, 16:23:21
First of all, thank you very much for the ongoing support with mods.

In the past 6 months, quite a lot of good stuff have reached the "incoming" directory, and will be added soon.

But we would very much appreciate if you guys could try and tell us, who composed the tunes or at least where you found them (if the composer is really unknown we will try to have them added over at our friends at modland). Because there were a lot of unknown, random tunes in the "incoming" dir this time 'round. So, put them in dir's in the archive or leave a little text if possible. Also, please don't reupload each tune a lot of times.

Especially, as good .mod files is obviously our main priority, I would like to know who uploaded and composed mod.action-ii, mod.easy-living, mod.hitech-i, mod.idea for nothing, mod.imperator magic, mod.in the distance, mod.intro-e, mod.lost files, mod.maximum performance, mod.the journey and mod.waiting. I have a feeling most of these are by the same composer, so though some of you might know something?

Music database / Re: Laurence module

Well, looking at time and file size it obviously is. Could be some pattern difference ... "Jungle" includes sample texts and the information that Mel'O'Dee was involved. Both tunes were released in scene productions... http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/release.php?id=44621, http://janeway.exotica.org.uk/release.php?id=96102. I'll leave it to Asle to decide ;) ...

Announcements / Jeroen Tel
May 19, 2020, 09:02:10
In co-operation with Nah-Kolor, AMP are now happy to make the gathered Amiga works of legendary games composer Jeroen Tel (of Maniacs of Noise) available to the public. Today it is his birthday, so, happy birthday Jeroen - and good luck with the new album.

In 2019 Nah-Kolor made "Time Will Tel", a musicdisk of the best tracks Jeroen did on Amiga - go download it on pouet (youtube link should be available shortly)
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=82435

Just to make things easier, go download the modfiles of Jeroen Tel, of course including the mods from "Time Will Tel":

Well, some modules from Poland was also added from the collections from the old ftp. Most of the (polish) .mod-files come from there (as in .mod specifically, not xm or s3m or ...) ...

...and ... finally ... we use it as well.

In other words, we are happy to announce that all of the support (in the form of modules and collections) that you have provided us with via the (now defunct) amp ftp over the past few years have been sorted and all the tunes not already in the collection has been added.

Thank you very much for your support, all of you and sorry for the delay.
As the changes and modifications list shows, quite a lot of stuff was added in the past few days and weeks, including quite a lot of real, old, 1990's Amiga modules from known and not-so-known demoscene composers - or in other words, the core of AMP's reason to exist.

So, enjoy!

Ah, 14 days of paternity leave made CD48 possible ... Now, I've quit my job (due to a "difficult" boss), so plenty more time for scening...
