Replaced the faulty switch, site was unreachable for less than 10 minutes.
Expect another maintenance in the comming days, I will upgrade the CPU and add a 10g network card to the hypervisor then move the storage out of the server on a redundant array.

long story short, we experienced several problems, faulty switch, UPS and Firewall in one month.

The UPS and the Firewall have both been replaced, the switch will be replaced at some point, which will cause another shutdown.

A few people have notified us of problems with forum registration, turns out something was wrong with the forum configuration.

Problem should be fixed now.

Hi Axxy,

we moved the site to a new server with a clean install of the latest version of the forum software. Authentication is still managed by the forum and you only need to authenticate once.
If you still experience this issue please let us know, but first delete all cookies for amp.dascene.net.

EDIT:
just realized it happens if you go back to the non https version of the site.
Once authenticated, just click on the "Return to Amiga Music Preservation" link at the top right-hand corner of the page in the forum and everything should be fine.

Yup I'm quite silent, about the FTP problem, it has nothing to do with an attack but an Internet connectivity problem I'm trying to resolve!

I failed to upload on the ftp, so I post here the module : "Reliable long version" by Woober.

I found something wrong in the FTP server configuration file a few minutes ago.
Both active and passive FTP should work now.
