4champ 1.6 now in App Store! This update adds in-app settings where you can adjust some playback parameters like stereo separation, bass boost and surround. You can also control how 4champ treats downloaded mods when you clear playlists. Either keep all downloaded mods or delete the mods that are no longer referenced/favorited when you clear a playlist.

4champ 1.6 integrates with Google Analytics, and at first launch you'll be asked whether you want to help making the app better by allowing anonymous data collection or opt out - your choice! This you can also change later in settings should you change your mind.

As with previous release, the full version will be free for about a week until Nov 23. To get the full version, navigate to About tab in the app and just tap Buy Full Version button. Also don't forget to follow @4champ_app for updates, great module shares and other related stuff.

4champ 1.5 now released to App Store. The new version has two new "channels" in the radio - New in AMP plays most recent additions in the amp.dascene.net database. Local plays mods that have been stored to device - great for offline use once you've collected some favourites into your own playlists.

In addition there's better control in adding tunes to playlists (try long tapping a module) + some bug fixes. To celebrate the new release, full version is free until next sunday (14th of September). Enjoy!

I was looking for this quite a bit of time. This masterpiece from the very early Amiga age was released in Thrust's sunset glow cracktro: axk10 by Axk. Excellent tune, worth a remake with more sophisticated instrumentation would be cool to do.

Heh some search wizardry with google images and I managed to identify the thing I was looking for: It was Thrust's sunset glow, and the mod is axk10 by Axk. Man it is nice to hear it again.

I do not think it is this. I'm pretty confident about the sunset / tree graphical theme plus the tune is not right. Maybe I need to dig through cracktros with gallery search on in BitWorld, that might help. Any hints still welcome.

I used to play quite a bit of Empire - the wargame of the century back in the day. There was a short intro/cracktro shown when disk was inserted, I think it had a scenery, maybe a tree in a sunset (I might have it wrong though) and a rather large scroller. Can't recollect which group it was by or any other particular details. I really liked the music and often just put on the intro for that, not even intending to play the game. Does the description ring a bell with anyone?

Due to an unfortunate trademark dispute, AMP Player had to be renamed. I have now published version 1.1 under name 4champ, the app is downloadable in app store as of today.

Version 1.1 has a number of new features, the most significant listed below:
- Local modules list can be filtered to locate quickly the module you're looking for
- Search now extends to groups. You can search by group name to get list of all composers in that group
- It is possible to create multiple playlists. You can also lock a playlist to avoid messing it up. This feature is great for creating e.g. playlists that have all tunes from a music disk or your all time favorite mods.
