My copies of all your mods have the same datestamp 18/10/2014 22:05, which kind of suggests that possibly I ripped them all at the same time from some production, i.e. a musicdisk or something. Attached in the details of the one I have.

@AlternatePrism I would've still been in lexington July of 1994 before heading to Anderson for my freshman year that Fall. I probably let you use my lunatix email address since email didn't really exist back then, especially for 13 and 14 year olds!! And I had my college email at anderson and wouldn't have needed the Lunatix one and now that I think about it, I wouldn't have paid to dial long distance just to connect to a BBS in Lexington since my dorm had Internet in it ))

The funny part is I don't think I ever actually created MODs...(I didn't even have a GUS). I'm pretty sure Ben and I just listened to the ones you created and thought they were awesome.

ok good news, i just got off the phone with jeff(now geoff) rothman. it was a nice time catching up and getting my memory jogged+setting the record straight. he mentioned not having anything to do with the alternate prism music other than enjoying listening to it (and sharing the stuff w other users on various bbs's).  let me know if there's anything else to be done here?  thanks again for all your help on this!

Hey there everyone!! Geoff Rothman here. Jason was literally 13/14 years old when he created these AND  didn't have access to the internet so I used my personal (@lunatix.lex.ky.us) and college email @picard.anderson.edu to upload his MODs because they were amazing even though he was relatively newer at it. imho, this is important to get right because it kind of paved the way to the success he's had in his career now.

Let me know if I need to do anything else to vouch and have this updated for him. Obviously, the Lunatix bbs has been defunct for decades but if you need, I can send you my linkedin that shows where I have Anderson listed as my Uni and you could probably verify with TWBM or something that I haven't changed that in decades either

I'm inclined to go in the direction of creating a 3rd A.Prism that has no group membership and that would get the 8 listed musics without source.
I'll wait for more feedback from either of you before going forward with the change.
And yes, that would mean the Epinicion guy would remain without music.

just now seeing your response asle. for some reason, it wasn't available when i logged in here and posted yesterday. thanks for doing the researches!! super useful. hopefully i can get a response from jeff rothman to find out how his emails became associated with my songs so long ago and we can clear the records all around.

was able to get a friendly conversation going with jeff(geoff) rothman via facebook. he remembered me, stating how i used to be super into make mods. asked him if he and i ever collaborated or if he ever remixed any of my old songs. haven't heard back on that, but hoping he's able to set the record straight for us here.

thank you for attaching those! your 2014 ones are, byte for byte(winmerge), exactly as the ones at modland and here at amp. your eternal/fantasia are exact to modland. i did find that across all versions: diamond eyes.mtm is exact to my original: does not have any rothman contact inside.

That might be because back in 2004 or 2005 I sent 4xDVDs to Coma containing well over 80000 mods for Modland. You can usually tell which ones are probably added by me, renamed filenames...  Maybe I did send them, but for some reason I must have downloaded them again, maybe one of those moments where I deleted some stuff by mistake or something.

It's strange, if this was someone passing off your mods as there own, weird they only add the lunatix email address and use your nickname

yep it's odd. my experience with this kind of thing, they at least change the artist name and or song title. my theory is that since i was using rothman's bbs account, they-whoever grabbed the emails from there. them removing my home address from fantasia red replacing w the rothman email, that makes sense i was a pretty naive kid to have put a home address in there. still, diamond eyes does not have any contact whatsoever.. maybe whoever was trying to link these mtms to epinicion w rothman's email, way back whenever, was just in a hurry.

hoping to hear back from rothman at some point... looking at his fb page: happy marriage w 2 kids, super christian, project manager job, doesn't appear to do anything w music... hunch he'll most likely tell me he had nothing to do w composing these songs or have anything to do w alternate prism.
