Maybe it is a good idea to think about switching the browser.

The fight against stupidity will never die. It's a shame you have to deal with something like this. :(

But what does the number mean? I guess it isn`t just 1, 2, 3, ...120, 121, 122, ...? Else you made 340 modules in 2001.
General Discussion / Re: New to tracking on Amiga

As far as I know a CDTV is more or less the same as an A500 but with CD-Rom. The upgrade possibilities are also unknown to me. For tracking 2MB chipram and some fastram is very useful. For 4 channel only tracking the 68000 might be good enough. Midi only might also work. Midi + samples would need more power. Most people say BarsnPipes is a good (the best) midi programm.
Ripping Amiga music / 68k ripper tools from download section
« on: March 21, 2014, 16:23:49 »
I`ve less experiences with these tools (used exoticripper just a view times) but I guess here are some people around with knowlege. Could it be that all ripper are buggy? I got muforce hits from nearly every ripper at some point just by a small test running. Can you confirm this or it is known already?

General Discussion / Re: A problem with OctaMED

Sample date have to be in Chipram for palyback. That is the reason for storing Samples there. Newer tracker like Digibooster and OctamedSoundStudio (I think so) can load Sample to Othermem. I guess for playback first they copy them from Other to Chipmem "on-the-fly". In most cases 2MB Chip is enough for at least 4 channel Tracker. If you need more you might want to use another Tracker.

Is this an old or a new mod (the author failed to add proper sample text)? It sound really oldskool (`90). Personally I would it call "Amiga Techno" not "Amiga Hardcore". :) And don`t overvalue amount of downloads.

I wasn`t satisfied with Digibooster 1.x. Try DBP (2.x) or OCSS. For 8 ch it should work. You can reduce Mixing Frequency if CPU hangs. Of course an accelrator (>= 030) with some fast mem would be better.

Sorry, I`m not familar with OctamedSS and DigiboosterPro on a stock A1200. But you can try it out if it works for you. At least 4 channels will work and maybe 8.
