Found another one.. When clicking on Artists national flag, you get this. Didn't it used to list artists by nationality?

Or even scene.org with the truckload of .zip files ?!?

Wow. I just managed to download files off AMP no problem. Scene.org was working fine recently, until I just a few minutes ago, and no dice, can't download from there now.

I also noticed that Firefox users are complaining that they can't download files from some sites, so maybe it's not restricted to what browser your using??

Google' excuse is that places like Scene.org contain virus' and malware but I've been using the site for well over 20 years with no problems. I can't see why the Demoscene sites are being targeted as a risk, there are no different to any other site that contains file downloads....

It's because it's a HTTP download and Chrome has started to block non-secure downloads from HTTPS websites, particularly for high risk filetypes like exe files

Seems that downloading zipped data files is now considered a risk in Chrome..  It's quite amazing that I can go to some dodgy websites and download just fine, but not from a relatively low risk website such as AMP... Literally, AMP is the only site that is affected by this, that I have found so far...

Carrying on from blocked downloads from AMP in an earlier post, to now clicking a download that does absolutely nothing. As downloading files from various other sites are working, it seems AMP is the only the site that downloads are working...

Is there a problem with AMP or is something to do with my browser?

Nope, I just found the link by accident and was going to change the Lofihile mods to Andyk, because it sounds like Lofihile was more digital (ie, mp3, soundcloud etc.) rather than mod releases.

Would you say that Andyk and Lofihile are the same person?

Just to add, both Scene.org and Pouet are doing the same. Is the Demoscene being targeted or something? 

Seems Chrome no longer likes unknown or not commonly downloaded files from AMP. I've noticed this more and more recently with anything demoscene related.  I have had the same happening with Scene Org on and off.

What I don't understand is what has changed since the day before yesterday, I haven't changed anything, Chrome still the same version as Friday. It's not like a data file like a module is dangerous or anything?

As from today, it seems that Google has decided to block all downloads from AMP.... wtf??

It seems zipped module files are now considered dangerous. When and what has changed since the day before or all the years where this hasn't been a problem, I have no idea. I haven't made any changes to anything, so why now?

Anyone know how many tracker musicians are out there known as Zed???

AMP has 2, one from Hungary, other unknown..

One likes to spell out Z using loads of z' in the credits..

The other might be 2 or just the one person. Credits in mods (.xm) use zED of N-Zone or Zed of N-zone, one has a French email address, the other a Polish email address. These might be off the old defunct TiS site, so no idea tbh.
