If you'd like to test the first public beta version of DigiBooster 3 on AmigaOS 4 and/or MorphOS then please click on the link below.

Note that this is NOT a release candidate - many important features are not yet implemented and will be added in the future. The aim of this beta release is to check stability of the program core on different hardware and software configurations and gather user suggestions and oppinions.

[EDIT] The 680xx version is now available for download too.

Audio Trackers & Players / New tracker: Klystrack
December 16, 2010, 20:20:44
Another open source audio tracker has seen the lighe and it's called: Klystrack. This new audio tool is based on Klystron (http://code.google.com/p/klystron)

This new tracker is clearly chiptune oriented and should satisfy people looking to something rather closed to AHX.

According to the developpers, "It synthesizes sounds on the fly. This allows more flexible sounds since the parameters can be changed in real time".

You can download sources right here and see for yourself: http://code.google.com/p/klystrack/

There is also a port for Amiga OS4 from our friend Spot which is available here:

http://www.os4depot.net/index.php?function=showfile&file=audio/tracker/klystrack.lha

Please remember to send the tunes over to us once you've tried it.  :)

Hello everyone,

Asle, Curt Cool, Monty and Myself are more than proud to celebrate AMP's 10th Anniversary. As law requests, we had a couple of good beers and enjoyed the day as much as the weather allowed us to.

We've got a couple of nice surprises to come in the coming days and weeks.

As an appetizer, we wanted to offer some never released modules from either well-known or "out of the scene" musicians.

We live it up to you to download the attached file below and load your favorite module player.

On behalf of the Team, I want to express my gratitude to the huge amount of support we're getting from Musicians, Demo Sceners, Module Fanatics (hi Slash!) and all the people that took some of their time to take part in the development of the Database.

Thank you, Thank You, THANK YOU!

PS: mods are here http://amp.dascene.net/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=239.0;attach=503

Announcements / AMP's 10th anniversary
December 09, 2010, 12:31:06
Hi fellows,

In order to celebrate AMP's 10th Anniversary, on December 14th, we're asking audio contributions from (ex) Amiga Musicians.

As we'd like to release a RAR archive with all contributions, we'd you to send us mod. file composed with sound/noise/protracker, either on a real Amiga or through emulation (WinUAE, UAE4all, etc.). Your music needs to be original, which means that it was not released earlier.

Please send your mod file to Crown.

We look forward to hearing from you guys.

Many thanks

November 04, 2010, 12:00:22
Guys,

It's finally time to vote for the 100th AMP logo.

Simply answer to the poll right here: http://amp.dascene.net/forum/index.php/topic,226.0.html and have fun.

Cheers

[EDIT] We have added Kefrens AI's logo although it was sent to us a bit later than expected. Same as with Anarkhya's entry, the logo is not 100% finished. The poll was modified accordingly so that everyone is allowed to vote twice.

It only costs 0,79€ and you can read the app review right here: http://toucharcade.com/2010/10/02/modizer-its-not-a-game-but-it-sure-sounds-sweet

Hi to everyone,

Chromag kindly sent us his IDE hard drive so that AMP could preserve the whole content of it.
The HD hosts all his modules and a large collection of tunes from other Amiga musicians

Sadly, the hard drive's head is broken and our only to hope to salvage its content is to find a working Conner CP30254H HD. It has a total capacity of 250 megs and more details can be found right here: http://www.computerhope.com/hdd/hdd0052.htm

I hope that someone will be able to help with a donation.
So let us know if you find one of them.
