Title: composers privacy?
Post by: Anarkhya on February 04, 2010, 09:47:21
Since worldwide social networks appearance, we observed an increasing struggle for preserving IRL privacy... As amp hosts loads of Real names (also real adresses with modinfos  now) I'm just wondering whats the amp "moral" position about these privacy issues.

Hi mate,

The procedure is fairly simply simple. We can hide real name upon request.  :)

AMP stores what's already public, or found more or less easily by sniffing in public productions (i.e. demo/mag/music/etc.).
But as Crown just said, we hide names at anyone's request. Modinfo might be a little more tricky, but does not make much sense if the music is still available. We can block any file from being downloaded also.
There are quite a few names hidden and files blocked already.
