While sorting a few tunes out, I came across this guys mods. He's had a few aliases too.  Now, from what I can tell, he has gone by :-

Pauli Merilainen (for the most part)
DJ Merilainen
Merilainen
Pmerilainen
Metampsychosis

Some more obscure ones such as

Ribonuclean (TiS handle)
Handfuck
Grieg
Zen Guru
MC BigMac
Bacharach


Other possibles

Mr Dude
Paul Van Der Hof

Now the last one I'm interested in, cos I have 4 mods (.it) by Paul Van Der Hof, and one of them clearly is credited to Pauli Merilainen even though its by paul van der hof, but may be a remix by merilainen?. Now the other 3 have no mention of merilainen, so i'm wondering if they are by him, or there is a paul van der hof?

Did a quick google on pauli merilainen and he seems to be a programmer & sound designer, has worked on PC, X-box and PS, but no idea if they are the same person.

Anyone have any further info on this person?

Only Merilainen I know is Markus :)

Do you know who wrote that Song 2.s3m by Merilainen on AMP?

I have this also this s3m and presumed it was by Pauli Merilainen as I have not come across anyone else with Merilainen as a surname. Most of Pauli Merilainen mods are .it, but a couple are s3m.

hum ... not much to say. May be from a compo.
It's sometimes muddy down there. Some fake sceners' names or some other non-musician members enter, etc.
could be that, or anything ;)
