i've noticed a lot of Atari productions being uploaded on Pouet in the last few weeks.. Anyone know what formats the Atari scene uses for it's music files? I was wondering if they used anything like a protracker format?

I'm no expert, here, but I'll venture a guess : soundchip ? :)
Maybe a few Octalyser and probably some TCB.
Again, some expert should answer that.

Hey Axxy,
well... we (from the Atari Scene :) ) use as mentioned before lots of Chiptunes... but
also standard Protracker modules (many stuff can also be found on AMP).... Octalyser STE (8 Channel on STE machines)
there are some system specific trackers too like TCB Tracker (bleurg)... on the Atari Falcon there
are lots of Falcon specific trackers like Graoumpf (.GT2), Megatacker (.MGT) or Digital Tracker (.DTM).

I remember having actually seen Graoumpf tracker running on Falcon at a Saturn Party (France). Never seen any prod with this music format, though.

On Falcon there are a couple of Demos, Games and Musicsdiscs that uses the GT2 format.
One example: https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=17778

As for myself, I prefer Digital Home Studio, on Falcon. It's a pretty complicated utility indeed but with a standard machine it can play 10 channels in a really good quality.
