Title: Dreams.xm
Post by: Axxy on May 12, 2013, 22:32:40
Ok, so continuing with my hunt for dupes....

I have 2 xm's called Dreams that are identical, one from Maniac and one from Undefined.  The Maniac one is the same one as the Stinger one on AMP, but the artist credit is not in the module.

The Undefined one is credited to himself and it took part at Wired 95. According to the results, Stinger entered the compo with an xm called Dreams, but not available for download from the party so I cannot say if this is in fact the file from the party to confirm.

Has anyone heard of Undefined?

Real name:  Eddy Naim or Adibe Naim (used this name for MC6 Rookie entry)
Groups: 3o3%Dimension /  Affinity / CDA

The contact email address looks like a university or college address anaim at stevens - tech.edu so well out of date.  Maybe an early alias for Stinger or is this someone else completely?

Mods are really quite good as well.

I don't have Mods Anthology at hand, but I've found it contains all modules from the W95 music compos.

The one from Stinger doesn't seem to have the same size than the one from AMP

Hi Wally and welcome to AMP!  ;D

Time to dig out Mods Anthology then!....  Strange all of them aren't over at Scene.org in the Party folder....

Ok, my one is obviously credited wrongly to Maniac as it's identical to the one here on AMP. All 3 versions are the same filesize 307.837 bytes.

The credits from the Undefined one:

001   dreams
002   by
003   undefined (3o3%Dim)
004   for the Wired'95 party

It seems there existed a music group called '303%Dimension' (with the percentage sign). Possibly the same group referenced in Wayfinder's profile and maybe the same '3o3%Dim' referenced in the .xm

Can't find any mention of him there @ 303dim.com.

He actually has a folder at Scene.Org with all his mods, plus a couple of mp3'.

He might be American as the university mentioned in the mod is in the states.

This may be the one I was looking for. Some of the mp3' there share the same title as the xm's.
