  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • Wooooh that is a long time ago.... i didn't start in my teens as with alot of
sceners. I started when i was like 6 years old.... playing summer games on
the c128 with my cousins was cool. Then also playing atari at friends was one
    of my favorite things...

My mom and dad werent really keen on computers so the first computers we at
home owned was a 486 wich i fucked up almost instantly :P But my bro Wilfred
and I finally had some money to buy a sega megadrive and we bought one at
last.... Since then we had numerous of machines....

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • Well i own a commodore 128, a Atari 1040STf and the sega megadrive.
Ofcourse my own pc... (duh!) :P

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • Well i did try to do code games with this ridiculous kit called DIV or
something..... I gave up after some time because i just didn't had any talent
at it..... I do make gfx though but not on a regular basis, i can handdraw
pretty well but with a mouse is to difficult. Now that you say, i must
remember to buy a drawingtablet for my pc soon.... :P

Well music was always number 1 in my entire family actually and I drummed
since i am 10... My bro plays guitar in a deathmetal band and I make
    chiptunes....:P Pretty weird huh?

When i started with fasttracker and screamtracker i just read some tutorials
and i was getting the hang of it pretty quickly! That was around 1994 and then
i just grew to other trackers etc...

The oldskool started when i had emulators etc. to play the old games that i
did with my cousins and I found the music superinteresting... Then i got a
atari (from a friend THANK YOU!) and i started to make tunes with soundmon2,
but only without digi. I still cant convert em to ym dammit! (if someone has
a converter for it please mail me!) so alot of these tunes are still not
    heared by other sceners....

Then later on i got a c128 (guess :P) and i started to track on that machine
and i wasted alot of good floppy's on that one...... The c128 is still my
favorite! To be honest, i track all my amiga mods in a emulator (winuae)
with protracker 4.1 beta on...... Alot of times i remaster them with modplug
though.... ;) Well i am blabbing your ears of! sorry! next question! :P

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • For the Atari: Soundmon II

    C128: odin

PC: Protracker 4.1 (emulator) and modplug tracker i used fastracker and
    screamtracker...

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • Still not totally but my favorite now is Pilgrimage invite 2004...

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Like 300 of em all buried in the deepest holes on my hd.....

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • It's as much important as the gfx or code!
If there is no music a demo is like a mtv videoclip without music!

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Pure for leisure, oldskool doesn't pay ;)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Well there are certainly some beauties amongst them (kb, elwood, cube, codec)
but also alot of crap :(... (:P)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?
