Amiga Music Preservation

Amiga Music Preservation (AMP), a non profit association, is running the biggest and most comprehensive database ever about amiga music and amiga musicians. All the composers of the amiga deserve to be remembered and to have their work preserved. We tried all we could on our own but although it's growing all the time, now we seriously need you to help us one way or another.

Our good friend Anarkhya has again used his creative inspiration to draw some new amazing logos. One of them was inspired by a famous (oldschool?) game producing company, the other one will let you know what the lyrics from James Brown's Sex Machine originaly were!

Summertime is getting closer. AMP is more than honored to present you the first 2008 logos from our friends Anarkhya and Mysery. Making a total of 75 logos available online.
Anarkhya is back into painting amazing Amiga logos related to the best games produced on that machine. This time it is "Flashback" from Delphine Software.
Mysery drew a fab AMP logo that is quite close to the best demoscene logos (great lightsource effect). Thanks to both of you for these gifts. cheerio!

Another of our finnish friend -Nutcase- has provided us with a fancy phone logo. He created it with Rhinoceros 3D software plus some photoshopping. Enjoy it as much as we do and remember to call AMP. ;)

Another day, another sad news. The famous Amiga Game Music musician Holger Gehrmann has passed away on the 11th of February 2008. German people can read more about it here!

I was informed by Asle and Major Tom that Bruno (the finish musician) has passed away on the 27th of January 2008. I don't yet know when that happened but it is a real bad/sad news.

Here come the first AMP logos done in 2008. This time, our old friend Nutcase has painted some great pictures for you to enjoy. Here is a little quote from his email: "I got a little carried away and draw a few more logos. I like drawing logos sometimes. I did some on Amiga too. These were all done in Rhino3D and colors enhanced in Photoshop. 100% own work ofcourse. These are kind of simple but effective logos". Cheers M8!

We were announced today by Ijon Tichy that Wuju, his friend, had passed away. Here is a message from Ijon Tichy:
"With unutterable grief overshadowing my mind, I'm making it known that my friend Mariusz Wojcik, known here and in the neighbourhood by the nickname of Wuju, passed away at the age of 32. I will always remember the times of music, booze, laugher and fooling around that we had in a bunch of fellows. Suddenly, one of us is gone". Ijon Tichy
