Date of birth:

1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

1992, November, Outside, it was cold. Inside there was Coffee, Warmth and Lot

2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

1984 Commodore VC-20 (sold for some pennies to a stubid schoolboy)
1986 Commodore C-64 (sold for some more pennies to a stupid schoolboy)
inbetween: held for long time only motor driven devices
1992 Macintosh Classic (which made me seriously think that there will be a
future in Computers)
1993 ATARI Falcon (still in my Studio)
1996 Apple PowerPC 4400 (In the cellar, but to be re-activated as -hum-
printer Server)
2001 some creepy Pentium 200 or so (I swear I'll never use that shit again!
Sold after 2 Months)
2001 My Power Book G4 (which is the heart of my digital World)

3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

I'm an active Musician since 1989 when while a booze, I've discovered that I
could scream the loudest of the party. My visions of being a designer quickly
collapsed when no University wanted to educate me in painting wild cheesy
swords and shoes.

4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

I still use my brain for composing because there are no real competitors in
electronical form...just kiddin', My favourite tracking and Sequencing
programs are Cubase and Digital Tracker. I mainly use analogue equipment for
mixing and Mastering, so that's all there is.

5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

Tribute to Priest. Not by means of sound quality, but of composing and
feeling.

6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

Hum, yes, plenty of them. Thank god they aren't released.

7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

It's one of the carrying forces - which are pulsing gfx, inspiring fx and
whipping msx.

8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

Yes, I compose for private use, but only hand-made at the moment.
Professionally, I'm producing and editing music. I'm delegated to the GEMA,
the Society for Music Rights-Management in Germany, as well, so the
professional use exceeds the private fun...

9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

Simplicity first. Carrying your whole MSX library in a pocket is useful, but
full of threats for the creators.

10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

Iron Maiden - Two Minutes to Midnight
Bruce Dickinson - The Chemical Wedding
Dio - Black
System of a Down - War
Manowar - Secret of Steel
Fear Factory - No one

etc. etc. etc.

11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

Oh, my goodness, when I've got lots of time... but why not? Is there a market
for it?

12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

see above, mainly System of a down

13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

Nothing, I was too young while the blossom of the C64 and as Atarianer I
disliked Amiga Stuff by natural force.

14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

As active as one can be...phoning old pals and having drinks with'em, visiting
conventions and being part of old-school competitions.
