  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in digital things
(i.e anything with buttons and a display). I really loved Game&Watch games,
digital clocks and computers, but I didn't get my own computer until 1990
when I bought an Atari 520 STE.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • As said above my first computer was the STE. I think it was in 1995 I finally
got my hands on the Atari Falcon 030, and I'm still using it (now upgraded
    with the "CT60" (MC68060 accelerator)).

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • It takes less time to get results when making music, compared to programming...
well, at least for me! ;) I have tried different programming languages and
learned the basics, but I never made any useful programs. I think I don't have
    the patience needed.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • I once started using Noisetracker(on my STE, 4ch, 8bit). Later I used
Audiosculpture (still on STE, still 4ch, 8bit) until I found Octalyser (STE,
8ch, 8bit). When I got my Falcon, I still used Octalyser but after some time
I started using Graoumf Tracker (F030, 32ch, 16bit) which had many many more
    features.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • It has to be a tune called "Project: Global X".
"Project: Global X" is an 12ch tune made in Graoumf Tracker on my Falcon. It's
a techno/dance tune containing voice samples from the movie "The Punisher".
The tune never got a real name, only a project name...

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • No! :) I like every tune I've made, even the really old ones 'cause they are
the base of my personal musical developement! It's really fun to listen to 10
(or more) years old tunes and remember the "good old times"! :D

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The music is very important, sometimes more important than the visual effects.
As long as the graphics and music are synchronized and the music is good, the
effects doesn't have to be that advanced.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • Yep, I'm still making music for fun, but I havn't made anything on my Ataris
since 2001. Today I use Reason on a PC, but I'm acually thinking of digging
up all old samples and make some tracker modules in the near future! :)

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • Could you please rephrase that question? ;)

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • It has to be an old 4ch mod called "Speeding", made by a friend of mine.
    A fast techno tune.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • It would be really fun to reproduce some of my songs using professional
instruments and equipment to make a CD, but I have not planned it (yet).

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • I listen to selected songs from a big number of groups so I'm not really into
"listening to bands", more like "listening to good songs". I do have some
favourite bands though, they are: The Prodigy, Rammstein, Alanis Morissette,
Björk, Slipknot, Jean Michel Jarre, Disturbed.

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • It's easy to fall into the Wintel trap and forget about the good platforms
that really exist(that most people today doesn't even know exist!). The scene
keeps me from falling into that trap and keeps me loving my Ataris! :D

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • I keep track of what happens in the scene, watch new demos and so on.
I am also webmaster for "Svenska Atariklubben" (The Swedish Atari Club).

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • Besides a big greet to all Atari users out there, a special greet goes to
"Paranoid", my biggest fan! ;) Good luck with your new demogroup, and I hope
to see some cool stuff from you soon! :D
    That's all folks! :)
