  • 1-How did your interest for computers start? Which year was that?

  • I began to be interested in the early 80ies and bought my first own one
(C=64) in 1985. I first was interested mainly in gambling, being 14 years old.
At about 16 my interests changed more and more, first to graphics, then only
    music.

  • 2-What machines did you previously have? What did you do with them?

  • My first one was a C=64, in scene days I used an Amiga 500, later an Amiga 600
    and since 1998 different PCs

  • 3-For what specific reason did you end up making music rather than gfx, coding?

  • I stopped to compose music on computer, because of being more and more
interested in ´real´ music itself. After leaving computer-Scene I played for
some years in a band, was DJ in several discos and today work as technician
and booker in a live-club as 2nd job.

  • 4-Which composing programs have you been using? Which one in particular?

  • Protracker, Noisetracker, Soundtracker and Future Composer.

  • 5-With which module did you feel you had reached your goal?

  • With one, I made shortly after my scene-days, also then released as real song
of my band. My best of the scene-days was called ´Endless Yearning´

  • 6-Is there a tune you would like not to remember? For what reason?

  • Oh, I made a lot of shit tunes in the beginning, especially before 1990. I had
too few knowledge about music to compose songs.

  • 7-In your opinion, what's the value of a music in a demo, game?

  • The most important. :-) ... since years I never played computer-games.

  • 8-At present, are you still composing? For professional or leisure purposes?

  • I stopped completely to compose (also real music) in 1997, computer-songs
already years earlier. But one song I have to write until summer. After my
beloved girl heared old songs of mine, she wanted me to compose one for her
for our wedding. It will be a real one for a band and shurely the last one.

  • 9-What do you think of today's pieces of music such as mpeg,wave,midi,etc...?

  • They are not computer-music. Realest computer-music are chip-sounds.

  • 10-Could you tell us some of your all times favourite tunes?

  • Computer: I have none, but best composers I remember were 4mat of Anarchy,
the dudes of Razor1911 and Mark2 of Quadlite, the later author of
Mark2-Soundsystem. Real favourite: Stupid Girl of Garbage.

  • 11-Are you planning to make an audio cd with some of your music remastered?

  • No.

  • 12-What bands are you currently listenning to?

  • Garbage, Angelfish, Breeders, Total and Zemphira (last two are russian bands)

  • 13-What does/did the amiga/c64 scene give you?

  • more knowledge about music but nothing else remaining

  • 14-Are you still active in the scene these days?

  • no, only legal homepage-coding

  • 15-Anyone to greet? Anything left to say? Feel free...

  • no ... times are long ago and other people became much more important as the
    scene-people ever were
